Our Leadership

Tom Herlocker

President

Prior to founding the company in 2003, Tom worked as a design engineer for Freeman-White Associates focused on health care projects. He then spent 15 years as General Contractor at McDevitt & Street before joining Luwa, an international mechanical contractor specializing in industrial, pharmaceuticals and microelectronics.

Joel Herlocker

Vice-President

Joel joined Herlocker Mechanical Systems, Inc. in September 2010 as Project Manager. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, mechanical qualifier and plumbing qualifier in multiple states. Prior to joining, he worked a co-op for RMF Engineering doing building design, CAD drafting and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

– NC: Mechanical H1 and H2 unlimited license and P1 unlimited. Professional Engineer.
– SC: Air Conditioning and Heating, State Mechanical license and State Plumbing license – unlimited. Professional Engineer.
